Keela is a Scottish company that is known for its high quality outdoor garments. The entire production process, from design to manufacturing, takes place in Scotland. The testing of the products happens at the University of Leeds.

Unlike most brands, Keela does not use Goretex but a unique water & vapour protection technique called SDP (System Dual Protection). It works like double glass:
it allows no vapour to penetrate to the inside of the garment. Whatever moisture is formed (due to transpiration) is removed by a special layer. Tests have proven that Goretex retains up to 34% of the moisture inside the garments, while SDP retains only 3.7%. More info on SDP:
